3rd Workshop on Magnetic Nanoparticles and Hyperthermia: Anisotropy and Other Adventures

We are pleased to announce the upcoming celebration of the “3rd Workshop on Magnetic Nanoparticles and Hyperthermia: Anisotropy and Other Adventures”, which will take place at iMATUS, from April 19 to 21, 2023, organized by David Serantes, member of iMATUS, and Professor Roy Chantrell, from the University of York (UK). The third in a series of meetings dedicated to magnetic nanoparticles and hyperthermia, this edition will consist of two days of invited talks, and one day dedicated to tutorials.

The tutorials will focus on anisotropy, given its central role in heating. Research talks will include specific sessions on local/global warming, its determination, and the role of colloidal evolution.

Registration is free until capacity is reached (60 people). Although the event is mainly focused on talks given by specialists, a poster session is also planned. Details of the event can be found at:  https://nanomaheat.net/
