Professor Rosa Menéndez, member of the iMATUS External Scientific Committee, has given a plenary lecture at the 18th European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes (EUROMAT2025), organized by the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS). The congress, which will be held in Granada from September 14 to 18, 2025, is one of the most relevant international forums in the field of materials science and technology. With an attractive and multidisciplinary program, EUROMAT2025 seeks to promote collaboration between academic research, industry and different sectors of the materials community, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the creation of new synergies within and outside Europe.
Rosa Menéndez’s
participation is part of a meeting in which other iMATUS researchers will also participate. Tomorrow, the director of the institute, Carmen Álvarez Lorenzo, will offer a keynote presentation, thus reinforcing the international visibility of the center. At iMATUS, we conduct excellent research in materials science, with a special focus on health, the environment, energy, and industrial innovation. The active participation of its researchers in international forums such as EUROMAT reflects our commitment to cutting-edge research and the transfer of knowledge to society.
