The 15th World Meeting on Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology has kicked off in Prague, solidifying its position as the world’s leading conference in the sector. With over 1,300 participants from around the globe, the event brings together the scientific and academic elite to discuss the future of healthcare and pharmaceutical technology.
Prominent presence of iMATUS
The iMATUS delegation has arrived in the Czech capital with a flurry of activity. In addition to presenting more than 10 scientific posters showcasing the institute’s advances in new materials and drug delivery systems, the institutional presence reaches its peak with the participation of its director.
Carmen Alvarez Lorenzo will open the event on Wednesday, March 25, as an Invited Speaker in the Local Drug Delivery session. The iMATUS director will share her expertise on one of the most promising technologies of the moment with her presentation: “Electrospun nanofibers for topical treatments and implantable systems.”
A congress with global impact
Organized every two years by leading societies such as APGI, APV, and SITELF, the event covers the entire spectrum of manufacturing, from physicochemical principles to the use of Artificial Intelligence in drug design. Simultaneously, the ResearchPharm® trade fair allows iMATUS researchers to connect with the latest advances in laboratory equipment and excipients.
Best of luck to Carmen and the entire iMATUS team!
